Greasy Bush, Big Leaf Saab Bush
Shrub with sea green tomentose vegetation and fruits. Flowers are
white.
Found between Old Bight and the Deep South Turn Around, along a dirt
road that runs east. Scrubby and scantily vegetated area that was cleared
for farming.

The leaves are used to wash dishes, as they aid in removing the grease.
Leaves are boiled and the decoction taken in large amounts to "cascade”
(induce vomiting) to get all the cold out of the chest and stomach, and also
to relieve asthma.
