Scrubby and scantily vegetated area that was cleared for farming. 24°10’51”N Longitude 75°24’41” W The leaves are used to wash dishes, as they aid in removing the grease. Leaves are boiled and the decoction taken in large amounts to "cascade” (induce vomiting) to get all the cold out of the chest and stomach, and also to relieve asthma. Laurel R.
