Lava field and slopes. Extremely common.

Description
Shrub 2-3 m tall. Calyx very pale green. Corolla bright red for basal 3/4 and pale pinkish to white at tip. Filaments white and separate fom one another. Anthers of alternating lengths. Bracts bright rose. Mature fruit dark purplish black.
