New York State, Bronx Co., Bronx, New York Botanical Garden, near entrance to Events section of the Garden Café building. 4QQ51,5'm 73°52'54'W. alt. 25 m. “3227/78 A. Pt. Unknown.” Shrub 3 m. tall, with two stems left, the largest 18 cm. in diameter, leaning, the larger stems appear to be in declining vigor. Sprouts from base are vigorous and have larger leaves.
