380 ft. Alluvial soil and adjacent cherty-limestone slopes
in humus.
Mesic floodplain forest with Platanus, Acer, Ulmus,
Geum, Claytonia, Senecio glabellus, Ranunculus spp.
Flowers pale yellow, stamens pale orange; occasional
small tree 3-4 m tall, on mesic slopes adjacent to
floodplain.
