Metamorphic outcrop hills in agricultural area. Metamorphic, gneiss derived soil. Associated species: Agave and Acacia. Large healthy population, male cones observed. Vouchers deposited at FTG and ZAL (2501, 25-2). Terrence Walters 184. 22 Oct 1993. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
