Montgomery [Botanical Center] accession: 93943K. Original collection information: Mexico; Chiapas; El Campanario; Ejido de Andres Quintana Roo; Lugar: "El Campanario"; 565 m. Metamorphic outcrop hills in agricultural area. Metamorphic, gneiss derived soil. Associated species: Agave and Acacia. Large healthy population, male cones observed. Vouchers deposited at FTG and ZAL (2501, 25-2). Terrence Walters 184. 22 Oct 1993. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
