Habitat
Bosque de pinos-encinos. Disturbed forest of Pinus patula, P. pseudostrobus, Quercus, Artubus, grazed and much cleared for agiculture. Deeply weathered red clay soil.

Description
Small tree, 15cm,. in diameter; lower trunk with flaky bark; upper branches smooth pale. Fruit green.
