km. NW of Comarapa. Grazed and with almost all
the trees have been cut.
17°54’S, 64°32’W. alt. 2000 m.
Gnarled tree 5 m. tall, 30 cm. diam.; bark thick,
ridged, dark but somewhat corky. Only a few
seen, but probably once common in this almost
completely cleared hillside. Fruit green, held
erect, eventually brown.
