Bosque de Enchino. Thin forest on highly weathered and infertile red clay soil, with more mesic forest and coffee plantations in small valleys. Pinus oocarpa, Quercus, Byrsonima crassifolia, Agarista mexicana.

Description
Shrub 3m. Stems erect with deeply furrowed corky bark. Twigs arching. flowers few, color cream.
