Tree with white mimosoid flowers. Leaf petioles and rachis are
reddish.
Along the Old Farm Rd. that starts behind the High School in Old Bight
and continues until it hits the main road at the turnoff to Greenwood
Beach Resort. Disturbed roadside tall dry evergreen forest / coppice.

The wood is used to make wood carvings, however it's relative Lysiloma
sabicu (Horse Flesh) or Swietenia mahagoni (Madiera) are more prized for
wood carvings.
