Benth. Tree with yellow mimosa like powder puff flowers. The Bluff, found in the yard of a house at the northern end of the settlement, on the west side of the main road. Most likely cultivated 24°30’ 97” N Longitude 75°35’ 21” W This was the only place on the island I saw this species, thus I presume it was cultivated there. Not previously listed as occurring on Cat Island (Correll & Correll, 1982). Laurel R.
