The New York Botanical Garden Woody Plants of U. S. A. ACERACEAE Acer negundo L. Female. Tree 10 m. tall, 30 cm. in diameter, leaning. Floodplain forest along Pine River and Spring Creek, with Acer saccharinum, Ulmus americana (now mostly dead), Populus deltoides, Zanthoxylum americanum. Many nearby individuals of this species have already lost most or all of their leaves.
