The New York Botanical Garden Cultivated Plants of U.S.A. Aceraceae Acer ginnala Maxim. det. M. Nee, 2011 New York state, Bronx Co., Bronx, along Mosholu Parkway at Van Courtland Ave. 40°52’33”N, 73°52’55”W. alt. 37 m. Parkland with mix of exotic and native species of trees. Small tree, 5.5 m. tall, 40 cm. in diameter, with a single trunk and spreading crown. Fruit abundant, light brown body, some still green. Very similar to nearby no. 58113, but seems smaller in most parts and fruit less developed but drier. Coll.: M. Nee 58112 8 Aug. 2011 02483786
