invaded by Zanthoxylum americanum, Ulmus
Americana, Carya cordiformis, Populus
grandidentata.
Small tree, about as large as they become here
in open woods, 6 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter,
with wide crown. Bark finely fissured. Wood
hard. Voucher for wood specimen, MAD« 46196.
