(Forest Service Rd. #626), 5 miles north of Cusick, SW 1/4 of Section 36 T.34N R.43E; 5% slope, southern exposure, skeletal sandy loam; Pseudotsuga menziesii/ Symphoricarpos albus habitat type, open to shaded areas; occasional with Symphoricarpos albus, Rosa nutkana, Amelanchier alnifolia, Pinus contorta, Populus tremuloides, Pinus ponderosa and Holodiscus discolor; height 2-3 meters.
