T 42 N; R 15 W; NWV4NE 'A sect. 33. Around old gravel pit in glacial hills, surrounded by secondary woods of Populus tremuloides, P. grandidentata, Betula papyrifera. Treelet 3.5 m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter; bark smooth. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Inflorescences nodding, nearly leaf green like the underside of the leaves. Coll.: M.
