Description
Shrub, to 15 ft. Bark gray, smooth, shoots green, long. Leaf glossy green above, light shining green below. Flower greenish yellow when fully open, sweet scented, petals hooded, calyx reflexed backward. Fruit young, green, spindle-shaped. Flower borne on nodding shoot. Common cultivated garden plant. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
