of Swan Lake, NE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 30 T.24N
R.17W; 2800 ft, 10-15% slope, western exposure,
skeletal loam soil; understory of Abies grandis/
Clintonia uniflora habitat type; common with
Pseudotsuga menziesii, Larix occidentalis, Picea
glauca, Linnaea borealis, Symphoricarpos albus,
Amalanchier alnifolia and Spiraea betulifolia;
height to 20 feet.
