The southern edge of Laguna La Gaiba. Elevation
approximately 90 m. Approximate center of the
collecting area: 17°44'9"S. 57°41T0"W.
Shrub. Up to ca. 2.0 meters tall.
Locally abundant. Flowers white.
Fruits present. Habitat: shallowly
inundated (0.5 m) edge of the lake.
Numerous small trees and shrubs
with scattered macrophytes -
primarily Eichhornia cmssipes and
Salvinici auriculata.
