Single tree approx. 6 m tall with many root suckers. Mostly out of flower; anthers purple. Growing at the edge of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Lindera benzoin, Acer rubrum, Rosa multiflora, Alliaria petiolata, and Geum canadense. Matthew C.
