GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Kaieteur Falls, between the falls and
Kaieteur summit. Elevation: 550 m. 5°l l'0"N 59°29'0"W. Forest, 10-15
(-25) m, with little stratification. Few lianas, soil very poor, white sand
and bcd-rocks. Stems with linear submerged leaves and apical cordate
floating leaves, corolla blue. Rooted in muddy sediment along bank of
L.P. Kvist 129	7 October 1987
