Tree 12 m. tall, 65 cm. in diameter, beginning to branch 3
m. above the ground; bark smooth and gray but somewhat
irregular, with some small plates flaking off, forming almost
a khaki pattern. Fruit green. In line of planted trees, mostly
of this species, but also with Ulmus pumila. Voucher for
wood specimen, MADw.
