Park-like floodplain forest with Acer saccharum,
Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus quadrangulata, Quercus
macrocarpa, Ulmus americana, U. rubra, Verbesina
altemifolia. (Tree #1). Fruits pendulous, green, slightly
inflated, (pop if crushed), abundant fruits this year,
edible, like young peas - heavily predated on ground
(birds?); = Hill 36364, 36802.
