Park-like floodplain forest with Acer saccharum,
Bromus inermis, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus
quadrangulata, Quercus macrocarpa, Ulmus
americana, U. rubra, Verbesina altemifolia. Tree #8.
Fruits pendulous, green, slightly inflated, heavily
predated when seen on ground; few on ground have
seed remaining; leaves young, glaucous below.
