Park-jike floodplain forest with Acer saccharum,
Bromus inermis, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus
quadrangulata, Poa pratensis, Quercus macrocarpa,
Trifolium pratense, Ulmus americana, Ulmus rubra,
Verbesina alternifolia. Flowers green, in racemes,
pendulous; without corky thickenings on twigs.
