Flat, edge of ditch, grassy, with Acer negundo, Morus alba.
Tree 11 m. tall, 30 cm. in diameter. Also seen as a
shade/street tree in Blue River. Escaped and naturalized
here, but only a couple seen; but abundant for 3 miles E of
the bridge over the creek on the E side of Blue River, at
edge of pine plantations, in windbreaks, old sandy fields,
etc., in the sandy soil of the upper terraces of the Wisconsin
River valley. Fruit light yellow-green, abundant.
