divergence of the Rio Paragua. Elevation: ca. 210
meters. S.14°42'29" x W.61o07'16"
Shrub; up to 2 meters tall. Leaves
thigmonastic. Growing on floating
mats of Oxycaiyum cúbense and on
adjacent, slightly higher ground.
Infrequent. Inflorescences: globose;
pink. Surrounding vegetation:
Sabanas húmedas con bosques de
galería. Specimens preserved in
alcohol.
