access trail from confl. Peritu Eeku (Creek) and Sipaliwini R (1.0 ha
research plot K.W4). 225 m 2°19'30"N 56°47'20"W. Non-llooded
(upland) mixed forest, emergents 30-40 m. Tree, 25 m tall. Frts coll from
forest iloor, green, narrowly obovate, largest 3.4 x 2.4 cm, frt wall soft;
yellow, sticky exudate present, beading slowly; containing one large seed.
Common Name: makararaime (Trio).
