Morris) Road. Slopes south of Mud Creek. Elevation
ca. 686-738 feet. Dolomite talus slopes on ridge,
well-drained.
Mesic upland forest on upper slopes; with Acer
negundo, Acer saccharum, Cornus alternifolia,
Fraxinus quadrangulata, Quercus muhlenbergii, Q.
rubra, Solidago flexicaulis, Staphylea trifolia, Tilia
americana, Ulmus americana. Flowers white;
occasional shrub 2 m tall and wide.
