Natchitoches Parish. W of La Hwy 9 on single
track Forest Road, NW corner of the parish,
ca. 3 mi NW of Readhimer, Kisatchie National
Forest. Pine woods with scattered hardwoods,
in deep, loose, reddish sand.
Weak tree ca. 10 ft tall, very few seen in the
area. Just into flower.
