Ungrazed forest of Quercus alba, Acer rubrum, Ulmus
rubra, Carya cordiformis, selectively logged several years
ago and canopy opened enough to allow dense thickets of
Rubus occidentalism R cf. alleghaniensis.
T 10 N; R 1 E; SE1/4 SW1/4 Sect. 25.
Occasional. Several slender erect stems in loose clump.
Fruit black with dark purple juice.
