Viburnum acerifolium L.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, growing close to the edge
of the woods, near the athletic fields. Several small, wispy multi-
stemmed shrubs. Buds pink, open flowers white. In an Oak-Hickory
Mesic Woodland under stand of Fagus grandifolia, with Lindera
benzoin, Uvularia sessilifolia, and Prunus.
