    Deciduous forest. Growing in large patches. Very common everywhere.

  • Description

    Herb, ca. 20 cm tall. Fronds taperedf at both ends, foliage light green, Stipe and rachis of fronds slightly caniculate, glabrous, no scales or a few scales remaining at the base of the stipe, the vascular bundles two, slanted upward and outward, the secondary veins usually go directly to the margin, the apices of pinnules entire. Sori at ends of veins, indusium vestigial, near margins of pinnules. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
