Luteyn 19 SO THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN plants of ECUADOR I Cavendishia striata A. C. Smith Prov. Pastaza: Puyo-Puerto Napo road, 14-18 kms N of Puyo. Heavily cut-over forest, now pasture with remnant trees. Elev. 1000-1025 m. Epiphytic shrub with branches to 1 m long; floral bracts & calyx pale yellowish-green; lower 1/2 of the corolla plus limb & lobes white, with a purple band below the limb; fruit dark purple.
