Forest margin in flat terrain, growing in dark, loamy/organic soil (Spanaway-Nisqually complex, 2 to 10 percent slopes; Medial-skeletal over sandy or sandy-skeletal, amorphic over isotic, mesic Typic Melanoxerands to sandy, isotic, mesic Vitrandic Dystroxerepts). With Amelanchier alnifolia, Corylus cornuta, Dactylis glomerata, Fraxinus latifolia, Galium aparine, Hypericum perforatum, Polystichum munitum, Physocarpus capitatus, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus garryana, Rhamnus purshiana, Rosa sp. & Rubus ursinus. To the W. side of Mima Priarie and along the edge of Bordeaux Road, 0.1 mi W. of the intersection with Markman Street & about 0.8mi W. of the intersection with Mima Road. Thurston Co.
