Brookside Wildlife Area, two trees, -15-20 paces (50’) and -35-40 paces (100’) E of S.
E. 110th Drive (which runs between 111th [at Foster Blvd.] and 112th [at Brookside
Dr.]), -120 paces (-325’) N of Brookside Drive [which is just S of Johnson Creek at the
bridge]; + flat, open, grassy, brushy area with scattered trees, E of patches of large
rocks; W TREE: -20’ tall, branched at base; 5 main branches, the branches in 2 groups,
3-5” wide, 15-20 paces E of 110th: 45.4748° N, 122.5486° W; ETREE: -25’ tall,
branched at -2’ tall where -7” wide, 5 main branches, the branches 2V2-6” wide; 35-40
paces E of 110th: 45.4749° N, 122.5484° W; elev. -210’; apparently a cultivation
remnant; leaflets 5, black fruited [without bloom], innflorescences/infructescences flat
topped; with grasses, Abies grandis, Spiraea douglasii, Fraxinus latifolia, Berberis
aquifolium, Thuja plicata, Robinia pseudo-acacia, Solanum dulcamara, Acer
circinatum, Galium aparine, Rubus armeniacus, Vicia sativa ssp. nigra, V. hirsuta,
Geranium dissectum. Label data based on collections and observations from August 26,
2007-May 26,2010.
