Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Shrub 2.5 m. tall, 4
cm. in diameter. In rank weedy growth with Rubus
occidentalis, Urtica dioica, along edge of barnyard shed and
cultivated field. Leaves variable; the upper ones in the
inflorescences often simply pinnate; the larger ones on
vigorous stems with lower pair of leaflets irregularly
divided or formed into temate leaflets. Fruit abundant, dark
purple, weighing down the twigs. Inflorescence branches,
petioles and rachises a lighter purple.
