Long. % 24N, R. 10E, SE1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 to SW1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 SECT. 28 About 1 mile north of Oregon. East-facing slopes along the west side of Illinois Route 2, generally between the main [southern] entrance road to the Stronghold and Blackhawk Presbytery and the camp and an iron-gated stone entrance, 0,8 kilometers north of the southern (main) entrance. Elevation about 699-722 feet. Dolomite outcrop area. Mesic to wet-mesic upland forest. Fruits reddish-orange, showy, fully mature; globose, fleshy, very sticky within; rather common vine-this one with branches 2 meters long, mostly erect and on trees, at margin of forest on slope.
