Caprifoliaceae Lonicera morrowii A. Gray det. M. Nee, 2014 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. 43°18’15.5”N, 90°20’21”W. alt. 219 m. T 10 N; R 1 E; NEttSEVi Sect. 35. Floodplain of Pine River, with Zanthoxylum americanum, Prunus virginiana, V serotina, and scattered large old Quercus macrocarpa. Several arching stems branching from a larger base, 4.5 m. tall, the largest stems 8.5 cm in diameter; crown densely twiggy. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Bark pale tan, longitudinally finely furrowed and somewhat stringy. Corolla white, fading a very pale dull yellow, the falling flowers a much darker dull yellow. Abundant here and with other individuals all along the spectrum from white (fading yellow, i.e. L. morrowii) to deep pink (not fading yellow, i.e. L. tataricd). Coll.: M.
