Disturbed deciduous woodland and edges along farm roads,
no longer grazed. At or near top of ridge, with Carya ovata,
C. cordiformis, Quercus ellipsoidalis, Acer rubrum, Betula
papyrifera, Populus grandidentata, Crataegus.
Shrub 2 m. tall. Corolla white, fading yellow.
