Line of mostly native trees and shrubs {Primus virginiana,
Quercus rubra, Tilia americana, Betula populifolia, Spiraea
alba, Zanthoxylum americanum) along edge of river, and
partly shaded bank of river (Asclepias incarnata, Verbena
hastata).
Shrub, much-branched, 2 m. tall. Fruit abundant, shiny, red,
juicy berries.
