portion of the included curve, north of Crystal Creek,
north of a gravel access road, Lake in the Hills, Crystal
Lake IL 7.5 min. quadrangle. [Coordinate Datum;
WGS84/NAD83]. Elevation 860 - 880 feet. Soil
consists of glacial till and boulders.
Successional forageland and degraded dry-mesic
savanna with Daucus carota, Poa pratensis, Rhamnus
cathartica. Flowers white, fading yellowish; rather
common shrub 1.5-2 meters tall.
