The New York Botanical Garden Plants of U.S. A. Caprifoliaceae Lonicera maackii (Rupr.) Maxim, det. M. Nee, 2006 Wisconsin, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; NWV* NW'/4 Sect. 36. 43°27”N, 90°19’40”W. alt. 850 ft. Ridgetop pasture, near edge of young woods with Ulmus americana (now mostly dying), Cary a cordiformis. Shrub 3 m. tall. This species just beginning to invade this area. Flowers erect, held above the plane of the leaves. Corolla with pink tinge in bud, white when open, fading dull yellowish. Blooming period overlapping but later than that of the L. x. bella complex here which is nearly finished flowering (see no’s. Nee 54414-54416). Coll.: M. Nee 54413 28 May 2006 02442016
