Superstition Mountains, Superstition Wilderness Area, Rogers Canyon, ca 4-1/2 miles northwest of Rogers Trough, just below cliff dwellings, 111DEG 12'35" W long, 3 3DEG 27'48" N lat, 3760 ft, 1140 meters. Fairly frequent along canyon, in partial shade of Platanus, Juglans, also with Agave chrysantha, Nolina microcarpa, Dasylirion wheeleri, Acacia greggii, Quercus turbinella, Arctostaphylos, much Mimosa biuncifera.
