Canada. British Columbia. Rocky Mountains, Selwyn Range, east side of Rocky Mountain Trench. Fen between Home Creek and Packsaddle Creek, southeast of Valemont, just north of Kindbasket Lake.

Habitat
Extreme rich fen floating mat in calcareous Picea mariana peatland. Scorpidium scorpioides, Drepanocladus revolvens, Campylium stellatum and Calliergon trifarium common. Trichogin, Tofieldia, and Betula pumila dominant.
