Patkway in Scarsdale to Tucahoe along the Bronx River ca. 40°58’N,
ca. 73°48’W. Associated with Acer, Aesculus, Ornithogalum, Alliaria,
Pinus and Tsuga canadensis.
Erect woody shrub ca. 2 m in height. Leaves opposite and ovate, with
adaxial surface pubescent. Fruits fleshy red berries, borne from axils.
