Moist, disturbed slope with slight N aspect, just N of dirt rd to East Dennis, ca h. mile W of Hwy 6 (Alt 99 USGS 151 topo map - Emida quad) at summit bet- ween Mannering Creek and Emida, T43N R3W S14 se^i. elevation ca 3550*. Soil well-developed and derived from quartzite of the Belt Series. Abundant trailing herb with Acer glabrum, Rubus parviflorus, Betula papyrifera, Asarum caudatum and Salix scouleriana. Flowers pink. Surrounding forest of Thuja plicata and Tsuga heterophylla with some Abies grandis. Collected by: Douglass Henderson 6682 and Anita Cholewa 6 JUL 83 02435364
