Brazil. Bahia. Ca. 1 km south of small town of Mato Grosso on the road to Vila do Rio de Contas.

Sandstone rock outcrops with small area of disturbed marsh at base, and nearby river with lush vegetation along rocky margins.

Description
Subshrubby scrambler to 4m. Stems yellow-brown with yellowish spreading hairs. Leaflets rugulose, plicate along primary veins above, dark green, grey beneath. Sepals grey-green. Petals pale pink. Filaments greenish-white, anthers dark. Unripe fruit green-tinged reddish. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
