Description
Tree 30 m x 80 cm. Trunk with thick, steep, branched buttresses. Bark reddish-brown, smooth, with hoop marks. Inner bark thick, deep red with vertical white streaks. Flowers with pink petals (white on abaxial surface). Stamens with pink filaments, very deep pink at base where they join petals. Anthers yellow. Style and stigma white.
