Habitat
In coastal rainforest and associated blanket bogs, over rolling, mountainous terraine. Abundant granitic rock outcrops present at the higher elevations with numerous seeps and wet depressions. Dominant species are Chamaecyparis nootkatensis and Tsuga mertensiana. Bryophytes present are Herbertus sakuraii, Takakia lepiozioides and Pleurozia purpurea.
