Habitat:
Peat swamp, surrounded by mangrove.
Altitude: 5 m
Notes:
Solitary rattan to 10m. Stem: 2.5cm diameter with
sheadis, intemodes 25cm long. Sheath: armed sparsely
with short spines, covered with grey indument. Leaf: 3m
long including lm petiole. Leaflets: 17 each side of
rachis, arranged in pairs and in more than 1 plane.
Inflorescence: old and dry, at least lm long, at least 4
partial inflorescences.
